If you’re looking for the best Bath yoga studio, you’re in the right place. Since I started practising yoga over four years ago, I’ve found a few incredible teachers that I return to time and time again. Here’s a rundown of my favourite studios that offer fantastic classes and a welcoming atmosphere.
Diane Lee Yoga: My Go-To Yoga Studio
She used to run Bath Yoga Studio which was the first and only studio I’ve been to regularly since I started practising. Now, Diane runs classes from the Percy Community Centre and Well Bath, she has a few classes a week, each with a different focus. Diane’s teaching style is nurturing, welcoming and challenging. She makes sure you push yourself in each class meaning you leave feeling accomplished and on a high!

Yoga Bodhi Bath
Yoga Bodhi is a clean, sleek studio just off George Street. I’ve attended several Ashtanga classes here and always leave feeling super refreshed and calm. The atmosphere is serene, making it an ideal place to unwind and focus on your practice. The classes are usually 1hr 15m meaning you have plenty of time to warm up into the asanas and a long shavasana at the end. Bliss!

The Dojo at YMCA
Sunrise yoga at the Dojo just up the road from the YMCA gym is some of the the best yoga I’ve ever experienced at a gym. The class is shorter, only 45 minutes, fitting perfectly into a busy schedule, especially if you work in the centre of Bath. It’s a great way to start the day feeling energised and centred. The pictures on their website don’t do it justice, this studio is gorgeous.

These are my top recommendations for yoga studios in Bath. Each studio offers something unique, whether you’re looking for a challenging workout, a calming session, or a convenient class to fit into your busy day. Give them a try and find out which one becomes your favourite!

Patricia Fairbeard says
thank you Betsy for mentioning the YMCA and the Dojo classes – we really appreciate this. Just to add that we are a charity and our H&W centre is fully charitable – working with lots of different people across Bath. But we also work across Bristol, Somerset and Wiltshire with 55 + sites providing supported housing for vulnerable young people aged 16-25yrs. We also run youth clubs and outreach youth work; nurseries and pre-schools and lots more. By supporting our YMCA classes or our gym in Bath – means that you are also directly supporting our charitable work – which is amazing and so worthwhile. Huge thanks!
