There’s a major annual event in Bath almost every month of the year. Here’s when to plan your visit based on what’s on the Bath events calendar!
February: ReBalance Bath Festival
From 30 January – 16 February 2025, this festival will return to Bath for its third celebration bringing warmth and community to the city during the darker months. A host of venues and providers will be coming together to offer events and classes as part of the festival.

May: The Bath Festival
From 17-26 May 2024, Bath’s biggest celebration will shower down with talent from across the arts. Don’t forget to attend the Party in the City on 17 May – over 20k people went in 2023!

June: Bath on the Beach
From 13 June until 11 August, Royal Victoria Park will be taken over by a tropical paradise, the perfect place to meet friends, enjoy refreshing drinks and hopefully get a tan!

July: Bath Carnival
On 13 July, the city will be taken over by many performers from all walks of life. The procession marches through the whole city centre before finishing with a big hurrah at Laura Place Fountain.

September: The Jane Austen Festival
From 13-22 September, the great annual Jane Austen Festival is home to tonnes of Bath events. If you haven’t been, the festival pulls in literary fans from all over the world to dress in Regency-era costume. If you can’t make the festival itself, visit for the promenade, it’s a chance to see everyone dressed up as they parade through the city’s streets.

November: Bath Christmas Market
From the 28th, the market will return to Bath once again. Until the 15th, the city is taken over by beautiful festive chalets, the aroma of delicious food and drinks, plus thousands… and thousands… of tourists.

December: Bath on Ice
When the excitement of the market is over, from mid-November to the start of January, it’s time to hop down to Vicky Park for a spot of ice skating and refuelling at the Alpine Bar. This is one of Bath’s most hotly anticipated events so definitely not one to miss.
