For over seven years, I have loved living, working and studying in Bath. I’ve been a student at Bath Spa Uni, worked at a PR agency and now I’m dedicating my time to my business – Betsy in Bath – so I can share all the best places I’ve discovered in the city during my time here and work with businesses to do the same for them.

Why create about Bath?
After navigating Tripadvisor and endless scrolling on social media for the best things to do, I decided to convert my old Instagram account, Culinary Chica, into Betsy in Bath and begin sharing my own recommendations.
Fast forward to now, and I’ve been sharing all about Bath for over two years. With almost weekly reviews, listicles, guides, Reels and personal anecdotes around the city.
Now I want to use everything I’ve gained from my own experience and years in PR to help businesses do more with their social media and influencer marketing.
About me
I grew up in hills of rural Dorset and after moving to Bath for university, I couldn’t resist the pull to stay here ever since then.
Now, I spend my time between my family home in Dorset where we spend our days at yoga classes, swimming at the beach in Weymouth or enjoying the flourishing cottage garden.
When in Bath, my weeks usually include creating content about the city, working with my social media and influencer marketing clients, attending fun events and being social. When I’m not working, mocktails, barre, yoga and walks along the canal with my partner, Will, are at the top of my list.
What next?
Since becoming a content creator, I’ve met so many wonderful people and had the opportunity to connect with so many brands and small businesses.
